"Partnership" deal for USDAW

USDAW reps at home shopping company JD Williams say a new "partnership" deal with the company will give them "huge potential membership growth".

The union, with around 750 members at the call centre, already had a relationship with the company. But the new agreement "puts everything down in black and white, setting out clearly all the procedures," according to senior rep on site Linda Craven.

It provides reps with access to new starters and full induction facilities and the company will also introduce new staff to union membership.
