On their bikes success

Foodservice distributor 3663 is to open a second enrolment window for its bikes-for-work scheme on 1 March, to build on its success.

The scheme, which was launched in October 2011 with an enrolment window in November, has seen a 2% take-up, with estimated employer national insurance savings of over £3,000. This take-up meant the distribution firm achieved its target of 50 employees taking up the perk. It now hopes to build on this number with its second enrolment window.

The scheme was introduced in response to requests from employees, and to support 3663’s sustainability agenda.
