Recognition success at Liverpool college

The ATL education union has won recognition for members at Liverpool International College.

The Central Arbitration Committee panel determined the bargaining unit as being “tutors (including sessional tutors) and co-ordinators employed by Kaplan Liverpool Limited at Liverpool International College".

Three-quarters of the 51 members (74.5%) voted to support the proposal that the union be recognised for the purposes of collective bargaining with the employer. The number of votes supporting the proposal as a percentage of the bargaining unit was 62.3%.
