♥Unions week targets zero-hours contracts

Each year the TUC run a week of activities to show how joining a trade union can help you and your workmates. The week is an opportunity to celebrate the good work unions do in workplaces across the country.

The TUC’s ♥Unions week takes place between 11 and 17 February and this year the focus is on zero-hours contracts.

The TUC is calling on union members to pledge to stamp out zero-hours contracts during 2019 by:

• signing an online petition calling for a ban on zero-hours contracts;

• sending a message to their MP asking them to “pledge to ban zero-hours contracts”; and

• printing and sharing a leaflet to gain support in stamping out zero-hours contracts.

The online petition, leaflet and details of how to find your local MP are available through the link below.
