Pub landlords

Pub landlords who are members of the GMB general union have pledged to gain union recognition and free themselves from restrictive practices operated by “pubcos” (beer companies) who they say are ripping off both customers and landlords.

GMB pubworkers’ organiser Hayley Brennan revealed that the union intended to ballot 2,000 landlords for a strike to gain union recognition and break free of the restrictive contracts.
