Polish union membership stable

New figures produced by the Polish opinion research agency CBOS show that 11% of Polish workers are union members.

The figure, based on a survey of 1,020 people in June, is one of the few regular indicators of trade union membership in Poland and is unchanged compared with 2015. Membership is higher in public bodies and state-owned companies, as well as in larger workplaces (50 plus employees). And women are more likely to be union members than men.
