Tribunal fee refunds


Ministry of Justice statistics show that as of spring 2018, around £6.5 million had been refunded in relation to the scrapped employment tribunal fees regime. 


From the launch of the fees refund scheme to March 2018, there were 9,500 applications for refunds received and 7,700 refund payments made. The £6.5 million total is around 20% of the expected refund cost.
