Thousands attend TUC Organise 2020

Thousands of attendances were recorded for the 28 sessions of last month’s TUC Organise 2020 online event, the TUC says.

The three-day “festival of ideas” was kicked off with a plenary session addressed by TUC general secretary Frances O’Grady and Labour party deputy leader Angela Rayner, among others.

Other particularly popular sessions included those on organising against the far right, digital organising lessons from Australia, the state of the unions and the challenges we face, and organising for better mental health at work, as well as a webinar on how to run your own webinars!

In addition, around 3,000 people watched the live evening programme of music and poetry.
