Dutch unions lose members

Dutch unions currently have around 1.5 million members, around 100,000 fewer than in 2019. The latest two-yearly survey from the Dutch statistical office shows there were 1,504,200 union members in the Netherlands in 2021, of whom 38% were women. This is equivalent to a level of union density of 18%.
