Recruitment success

Shopworkers' union USDAW notched up another recruitment success last year, taking on more than 74,000 new members. The result is a net membership increase of 10,000, bringing the total to over 320,000.

General secretary Bill Connor praised the union's 6,500 reps and its organising staff.
