Passive smoking risks confirmed

A study published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) has confirmed that passive smoking at work is associated with respiratory conditions and lung cancer.

Those exposed to second-hand smoke outside the workplace were not found to be at increased risk of lung diseases, suggesting that the higher levels of exposure in workplaces is significant.
