Good job, good health

Job satisfaction has an important effect on workers' health, according to the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST).

Researchers said their findings "provide, for the first time, a clear indication of the immensely strong relationship between job satisfaction and both mental and physical health".

They suggest employers incorporate the findings into stress management policies.
