UCU reveals bullying of university lecturers

A survey by the UCU lecturers’ union has found that more than two-thirds of members at Leeds Metropolitan University have suffered stress because of bullying by their managers.

The bullying caused sleep loss and anxiety among 62% and 61% of respondents respectively.

The union was forced to carry out the survey after the university’s human resources department refused to do so.
