Train drivers’ rise

Workers on London Overground rail system are to receive a 20% pay increase following a strike ballot by the RMT rail union. In addition to pay, the agreement provides for additional conductor posts and no extension of driver-only operated trains. RMT general secretary Bob Crow said: “This is a massive victory for RMT members who have fought hard for a decent pay deal.”
