Local authority pay offer

Unions at Local Authorities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are balloting members on a new pay offer of 1% backdated to 1 April, with 1.25% for some of the lowest paid groups. Annual leave will be increased by one day. In Scotland, UNISON is warning CoSLA, the employers’ organisation, not to impose a pay freeze after it leaked documents proposing a five-year freeze to the media.
