Land Registry £550 minimum for 2000

Subject to a satisfactory performance assessment, full- time staff at the Land Registry received a minimum pay rise of £550, under a package worth 4.5% on the pay bill agreed in September, effective from June.

Overall the deal involved 2.5% on basic pay and a 1.5% performance pay budget. Pay band minima increased by 3% but at the lower end of the pay structure the RO minimum rose by 5% while the RA2 minimum salary rose to £9,000 (£10,992 in London). London allowance rose to £1,850. All staff on London pay bands which are higher than national pay bands received an additional increase of 0.4%. Standby and on-call allowances also rose and paternity leave was increased to nine days while special leave for adoptions increased to 40 days.
