Spanish unions condemn walkout by air traffic controllers

Both main Spanish union confederations have condemned the action of the Spanish air traffic controllers, who walked out claiming sickness earlier this month. A spokesperson for CCOO said that the action had not been a strike, that the body representing the controllers was not a union and that “not even the erratic action of the government” in approving a state of alarm, could justify the walk-out.
