Rise after pay freeze

Employees at Glassolutions (previously called Solaglas) around the UK have settled for a 2% pay rise effective from 1 July with a move to a common 1 April settlement date in 2013.

For those in manufacturing, that came after a six-month pay freeze reluctantly accepted by members of the Unite and GMB general unions. Hardest hit by the freeze, they also received a one-off lump sum equivalent to three months’ pay at the new rates.
