Campaigner launches safety videos on blog

Scottish Hazards and Families Against Corporate Killers (FACK) campaigner Louise Taggart is urging people to mark International Workers’ Memorial Day on 28 April, every year.

She has launched two short safety videos to mark what should have been her brother Michael’s 39th birthday last month. Michael Adamson was an experienced electrician who died in August 2005 as the result of an electrical incident “which could and should have been prevented” when he was just 26 years old. His employer was found guilty of health and safety offences and fined £300,000.

Taggart is encouraging people to: watch the videos in her blog and use them to bring about positive change in the workplace and/or training courses; and make a donation to Scottish Hazards, a health and safety charity.
