Transfer of holiday rights at GSK Parma

An agreement at the drugs group GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in Parma, Italy allows employees to transfer some of their holiday entitlement to colleagues who need to help family members in ill health. The possibility of doing this is included in the national agreement and the agreement with employee representatives at the GSK site, which employs 700 people, allows it to be implemented. The FILCTEM union at the plant said it was important “not just to concentrate on economic results but also on … solidarity and inclusion”.
