Minimum wage to rise in Poland


In 2019, the national minimum wage in Poland will be 2,250 zł (€524 or £463) a month — a 7.1% increase on the 2018 figure of 2,100 zł. Inflation is currently 2.0% (August 2018). The 2019 figure is equivalent to just under half (47.2%) of forecast average earnings in 2019. Some 1.5 million Poles are paid at the rate of the national minimum wage, 13% of all employees.
