South coast council to ban pesticides?

Campaign group Pesticides Action Network (PAN-UK) says it is “ready and waiting” to work with Brighton and Hove Council to ensure that a commitment to go pesticide-free becomes a reality.

PAN-UK says that, ahead of the local elections on 2 May Labour, Conservative, Green and Liberal Democrat candidates promised to end the use of pesticides throughout all council operations and transition to non-chemical alternatives.
