Pandemic halves Sweden’s pay growth

Pay in Sweden increased by 1.4% in the second quarter of 2020, compared to 2.9% in the same period in 2019, according to statistics from the Swedish National Mediation Office. However, this is largely because many negotiations have been postponed until the autumn. It remains to be seen if later deals will close this gap.
