The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has published a leaflet outlining the service provided by the Employment Medical Advisory Service (EMAS), to promote occupational health.

EMAS gives expert occupational health advice to employers, employees, trade unions, the enforcing authorities and other health care professionals. It is part of the HSE, is staffed by occupational health professionals and can assist in identifying competent persons to assist in managing health and safety, as required by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
