Equal pay limit

The Court of Appeal has ruled that an applicant who successfully claims equal pay with a comparator of the opposite sex can only be entitled to the same rate of pay as the comparator. She cannot claim additional increments to take account of the fact that she has longer service (Enderby F v Frenchay HA, The Times Law Reports, 29 February 2000).
