Joblessness rises again

For the second month in a row, unemployment has posted a rise. 


Unemployment under the Labour Force Survey, increased by 24,000 to 1.45 million in the three-month period to January compared with the previous three-month period ending October 2017.


Under the claimant count, which only includes those receiving Jobseeker’s Allowance and Universal Credit, numbers rose by 9,200 to 837,800.
