Boots bargaining unit

The Central Arbitration Committee has ruled on the definition of the bargaining unit to be used in the long-running Boots/PDA union recognition saga.

The PDA had wanted all roles that had previously been covered by an in-house union agreement with Boots, which was ended by a ballot of the workers, to be covered by any new recognition deal. In the event, the union won on all of the roles except two.
