Proper hours

Following a national strike and a two week overtime ban, PCS members used 23 February (the TUC's Work Your Proper Hours Day) for a further official day of action. Members wore stickers, adopted a themed dress code and set alarm clocks to remind themselves of break times. The union's demands range from no compulsory redundancies, pay increases that at least keep pace with the cost of living and no more privatisation without protection for the workforce.
