STUC recognises reps who fight discrimination

The Scottish TUC (STUC) has launched a new award to recognise members of Scottish unions who challenge discriminatory attitudes and practices in the workplace.

The "One Workplace Equality Award" - part of the One Workplace Equal Rights Project, which has been promoting equal opportunities at work since 2003 - will be presented at the STUC annual congress in April.

Anyone wishing to nominate a candidate for the award should contact Zaffir Hakim on 07970 261411 for a nomination form.
