New chair

Brenda Sanders, a TUC tutor from Wallasey in North West England, has been elected as the chair of the executive committee of the newly created general union Unite's T&G section. A former union convenor at a Cadbury's confectionery factory, she is the first woman to hold this position since the T&G was founded in 1922.
