Worker participation in Europe

The Labour Research Department has carried out research for the European Trade Union Institute on worker participation across Europe. The findings can be found on a new website www.worker-participation.eu

The website was launched at the ETUC congress and aims to cover all 27 EU member states. It gives an overview of industrial relations in each country with details on trade unions, collective bargaining, workplace representation, health and safety, board-level representation and the selection procedures for EU-level bodies such as European Works Councils. It enables comparisons to be easily made between one country and another on each of the areas featured.
