Union busters

The CWU communication workers' union has expressed outrage that communications giant Cable & Wireless, which is fighting a statutory recognition bid from the union, has employed well known union avoidance specialists The Burke Group (TBG). The union has written to the firm saying it is "shocked" that a such a high-profile company should use what the union calls "union busters", and urges it to dispense with their services.
