European guidelines on teleworking agreed

Guidelines on teleworking have been agreed between the EuroCommerce employers' organisation and the UNI-Europa white-collar workers' federation. The new Europe-wide agreement covers the right of safety reps to inspect the telework venue and the application of collective agreement provisions where they exist. It requires the company to undertake health and safety inspections, regardless of whether this is required by national safety laws.
