Could you please give me some information on the legal minimum time allowed for break times during a normal eight-hour daytime shift?

The Working Time Regulations say that a person, working six or more hours in any day, has the right to an uninterrupted break of no less than 20 minutes some time in the course of the working day. The regulations do not state that the break must be paid.
