Kit to simplify equal pay reviews

The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) has produced an equal pay kit to help employers review their pay systems for gender inequalities. The step-by-step guide urges employers to collect pay data to identify any significant pay gaps, establish the causes and develop an action plan to eliminate them.

Launching the guide, EOC chair Julie Mellor said: "This kit will make it easier for employers to carry out a pay review. This is the only way they can be sure their pay system is fair."
