Seasonal food prices push up RPI

Inflation rose to 1.5% in July from 1.0% in June. National Statistics said the biggest upward influence came from seasonal food prices.

The underlying inflation rate, excluding mortgage interest payments, rose sharply to 2.0% in July from 1.5% in June.
