DTI advisors

Two senior trade union personnel have been appointed as independent board members to advise the Department of Trade and Industry.

Tony Cooper, joint general secretary of the Prospect union, will sit on the DTI strategy board while Margaret Prosser, deputy general secretary of the T&G general union, is on the fair markets board.
