European strike hits flights

Air traffic controllers in several European countries took action on 19 June to protest against European Commission plans to establish a unified system of air traffic control. With participation from France, Greece, Portugal and Hungary and to a limited extent Switzerland and the Netherlands, flights across Europe were affected.
