Diversity shortfall

Employers are still failing to recruit diverse workforces despite decades of equality legislation and a supposed culture of diversity at work.

While almost half of the 660 employers surveyed by recruitment firm Monster described diversity as a “big priority”, almost two-thirds either did not have a diverse workforce in place or were unsure whether they did. Over a third said diversity was not a priority at all.
