Holocaust memorial day

The first Holocaust Memorial Day is being held next month on 27 January, the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.

The day will be marked by a series of events throughout the UK and there will be a ceremony in central London attended by leading political, religious and community figures and a senior member of the royal family.
