Asbestos compensation

The campaign to secure full compensation for asbestos-related disease sufferers after the collapse of insurers Chester Street Holdings Ltd earlier this year has succeeded.

The government has come to an agreement with the insurance industry on arrangements to make good any shortfall in compensation payouts to asbestos victims.
