E-mailed forms
A claimant who e-mails a claim form to a tribunal can assume it will be received within an hour, unless s/he receives a message saying that it has not been received, according to the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
The tribunal can then extend the time limit for the claim if the e-mail did not go through, as long as the claimant has submitted a new form within a reasonable time of discovering that the original was not received.
