Legionnaires' guidance

The HSE has published new Legionnaires' guidance. The leaflet Legionnaires' disease - essential information for providers of residential accommodation, contains advice for those responsible for smaller residential accommodation. It highlights changes made to the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) and Guidance Legionnaires' disease: the control of legionella bacteria in water systems, revised in 2000. A revised HSE video An introduction to the control of legionella bacteria in water systems, examines the two main risk systems - cooling towers and hot and cold water systems.
