Equality website launched

The International Labour Organisation (ILO) has launched a new website on gender equality in employment, entitled e.qualit@ork. It has information on the law, national initiatives and strategies, and programmes on equal opportunities for women and men around the world.

The website contains the texts of company and trade union policies, ILO and United Nations instruments, international guidelines and European Union policies and programmes.

The information is also available in CD-ROM format. The website is at www.ilo.org/genprom/eeo.
