Global day of action for Bhopal

The International Campaign for Justice in Bhopal is organising a global day of action on 3 December 2004 - the 20th anniversary of the world's worst industrial tragedy, when the Indian city was devastated by a poison gas leak from a Union Carbide chemical factory.

The campaign says: "The ongoing efforts of both Union Carbide and its new owner Dow Chemicals to evade their pending liabilities in Bhopal represent a classic case of corporate crime gone unpunished."
