Funding for better backs

The TUC is calling on unions to apply for funding under the Health and Safety Executive’s Better Backs campaign, so that safety reps can run events helping to “reduce the incidence and impact of bad backs caused or made worse by work” and “reduce the number of working days lost due to back pain”.

The campaign is also planning new additions to its resources on back pain at work, including a workplace inspection guide.
