Contracts of employment - a legal guide is LRD's latest booklet covering a key area of employment law. Despite the increase in statutory employment law a contract remains fundamental to establishing employment rights. This booklet looks at what legally constitutes a contract, their varied terms, and how to determine who is an employee, a worker or an independent contractor.

The booklet should help trade unionists establish their rights at work and confidently and successfully challenge any unlawful changes to contracts.
