LRD carries out TUC Equality Audit
LRD, which undertook the 2003 TUC Equality Audit, has been asked to carry out the 2005 version, which focuses on collective bargaining and equality.
Collective bargaining was chosen on the basis of the 2003 responses which identified it as a key area where equality needs to be improved.
Questionnaires have been sent out to all TUC affiliates, and the responses to these will be combined with information on collective bargaining at local level.
The equality audit arises from a Congress decision in 2001 which followed the recommendations of the TUC Stephen Lawrence Task Group.
