This 20-minute DVD gives a compelling answer to these questions, using footage from struggles over the past decade.

It shows examples from Seattle in 1999 to the G8 demonstration in Edinburgh last year where trade unionists have worked with young people on campaigns and forced governments to listen. It goes on to give examples of struggles far away that have captured the attention of activists in Britain and explains how attempts to unionise sweatshops, Oxford Street stores and cleaners have made a real difference to workers in Britain.

It includes interviews with organisers, strike leaders and experienced campaigners, who are full of the enthusiasm necessary to make a success of social justice movements.
