Agency workers

The government is running a consultation on implementing the EU Temporary Agency Workers’ directive. The new right to equal treatment on pay and conditions will apply to agency workers after a 12-week qualifying period.

The consultation exercise will help determine how tightly drawn any new regulations are, who is liable for their implementation and how wide any loopholes prove to be.
